What to look for when buying travel insurance if you’re over 50:

Cover for your health.

Many policies offer “automatic” cover for a set list of health conditions such as acne, but do you know for sure what you’re covered for? If you have a pre-existing condition, we get you to complete an online medical assessment before you buy, so you have certainty about what’s covered.

Straight talking.

We strive to turn the mumbo-jumbo of insurance into plain english that you can easily understand. Sure there are times when we need to use a technical term like “pre-existing medical conditions” but we try to make sure that everything is easy to understand.

Policies that cover people.

All our policies cover each person individually. Plus dependent children aged 17 or under listed on your policy are covered for free – and are also covered individually for each section. Not many other insurers offer that.

Never too old.

Some companies apply limits to travel insurance policies for seniors between the ages of 65 and 84 years of age. We don’t think your cover should be limited because some policymaker thinks you’re too old at 65!
