Yes, as long as you are travelling to attend a conference, meetings or to do office based work.
Our holiday insurance policy doesn’t provide cover for paid or volunteer work during your holiday, or if there is any manual activity involved. This is definitely not a ‘work’ policy! If you’re in construction, doing underwater welding, or a professional athlete competing (‘working’) on your trip, you won’t be covered for work-related claims.
What you need to know.
- You cannot claim for cancellation or trip changes due to a request of your employer, or for work reasons.
- If you’re travelling initially for work, and you extend your trip for a holiday, you need to select your travel dates as the date you leave home, and the date you return to ensure you are covered.
